Description: Painted in thick paint strokes, this southern California blue-gray bush is covered with yellow flowers in the winter and spring. The upper part of the image is an abstracted version of the desert Brittlebush plant. The lower portion of the image is a magnified view of the Brittlebush flowers. This painting has been displayed in La Jolla during the winter of 2007, and a week in April 2010. Currently, in a private collection.
